'Alam' (nature) umpama 'IBU'. Prinsipnya seperti 'keperempuanan'.
Kita lihat alam, kita katakan ianya "Dunia Kebendaan".
Dunia yang sedang dihuni, "akan terhenti pada suatu hari nanti". Walaupun tiada siapa yang boleh meramal; "Bilakah dunia ini terjadi?" Tetapi ia mempunyai "asas realiti". Walaupun dunia ini 'maya' (illusi), tetapi di sebaliknya "ada kebenaran yang Hak", yang merentasinya, "yang tidak kelihatan dengan mata kasar", seperti;
Malah dianggapnya seperti "melepaskan anjing tersepit". Adakah "pelajaran tinggi melangit membawa apa-apa makna?"

DRUG AND ALCOHOL ABUSE
More than one-third of our young adults currently use illicit drugs. The use of illegal drugs has grown to such proportions that it has "become a national crisis".
Drug and alcohol abuse is "an illness that has touched countless lives and families all over the world."
"It is the unsung war in my country 'Malaysia' in America and other countries all over the world".
There is no visible enemy to attack.
There is evidence of dying, the injured, or bombed-out buildings. "This enemy destroys from the inside-out".
"This enemy is self-inflicted and self-destructive."
The victims of this war are - men, women and children. Alcohol and drugs have eaten away their self-respect and destroyed the character. They are not physically dead, "but nevertheless they are dying within, a death of degeneration".
They become incompetent and lay lame in the arms of an uncaring society.
This illness is like a plague the has spread from child to child, adult to adult. The symptoms are related to... apathy.
The users lose interest in work, achievement, pride of self, and or country. They lose human dignity. They live in a state of depression and confusion when "artificial 'high' has died." Their thought and desires are driven by unfulfilled habit, the need to feel 'high' again.
"Today man is pursuing unrestrained sense craving. These pursuits drags man's mind into a gutter."
This war is unsung because it has a stigma - the stigma of shame and failure. Parents, teachers, priests and minister "often hide the illness when it touches their families, schools, or congregation." To sing out is an "announcement to the world that perhaps they have failed."
"These people are the character builder", the role models, of our nation. They feel responsible for the decline and decay of character that is self-evident in our country today. No individual, supportive of moral values wants to see the destruction of morality "that is associated with drug and alcohol abuse".
As long as we support the habit through silence, greater members of people become victims.
"More than one-third of American young adults currently use illicit drugs."
"More than five million American currently use cocaine."
The U.S. Surgeon General estimates the member of young people under 18 who are involved regularly with some form of illicit drugs to be in the millions.
Malaysian adults currently use illicit drugs keep on increasing, has grown to such proportions that it has become a national crisis. It is a hidden habit.
The welfare of the nation ultimately depends upon the quality and nature of individual.
Therefore, reforming the individual is of primary importance. Reforming the individual has two aspects:
First: "Weed out the evil thoughts and bad habits"
Second: "Cultivate good habit".
Who is responsible for this illness in Malaysia?
America or any other countries?
Moms, dads, brothers, sisters, uncles, and aunts, the Malaysian family, the American family or any other family. This excludes no-one.
We share this responsibility equally because it is destroying our world family.
"CONDEMN THE WRONG AND EXTOL THE RIGHT AS SOON AS YOU NOTICE EITHER
IN YOUR CHILDREN; THAT WILL SETTLE THEM ON THE STRAIGHT PATH".
Please remember!
Drug and alcohol abuse is a plague. "It doesn't choose or select its victims". No one is spared because they're a good parent, go to church, go to mosque, go to synagogue weekly, attend good schools, religious, or live in a certain location. It spreads to every household.
"It's like the darkness of night and falls on every home".
It is painful to watch someone destroying themselves. Who wants to admit their child has a serious problem, has broken the law, or injured another?
Parents only one the best for their children and "looking at our child's mistakes automatically requires self analysis". Reluctance or refusal to do the latter is often the barrier that keeps the closed on the facts.
Please note:
"Drug are deceptive, debilitating and dangerous, and they have deleterious consequences".
I repeat again...
"It is painful to watch someone destroying themselves."
When it is your child, the pain is intensified. For a mother, it is unbreakable. A mother's life is devoted to caring for the needs of her child and solving their problems. If the child has a bodily injury, one applies soothing medication and love.
But how does one help when their child grows-up and dosen't want it?
A home should be a place where you can rest from the turmoil and negativity that exist in society. The atmosphere should be somewhat harmonious and "filled with love, peace and understanding".
The purpose of our home "is to strengthen, renew, refurbish and refresh" us so that upon rising each morning, we can face the world with equanimity.
"It is possible for a single individual alone to achieve peace? If there is chaos and unrest all around you, how can you alone have peace? If there is no peace in the home or in the community, how can you have peace? Your peace is dependent on peace in family, in the society, and in the world".
You cannot be indifferent to the state of the environment in which you live. One who wishes to dig a well for pure water will choose a spot far from polluted or saline areas. If you want to achieve peace, you have to see that the atmosphere around you is conducive to peace.
This means that you have to cultivate the feeling that your individual peace is intimately related to the peace of the world.
Currently every home is in a turmoil, everybody is unhappy and would take their feelings out on everyone at home. Everybody prayed for it to become a loving home, filled with peace. And everybody knew this world be a reality someday. But my advise is, "please don't wait - do it now, redress and correct your family now," don't wait... "We live in instant society".
"We have instant cameras, instant food, instant news, even instant marriage and divorce".
Today, uncontrolled living habits and unrestrained social behavior are extolled as signs of freedom. It is really only freedom to slide down into the animal behavior from which man has arisen.
Spend your time in good company. When we make an inquiry as to what is the meaning of good company, we will come to understand it by saying that it is friendship with good people. You may ask what is the benefit that we will get out of such good company? "Man's good as well as bad features receive their final shape when he mixes with other members of the society". If you spend your time in bad company and wander about the streets like stray dogs, whistling like foxes, you will only be wasting your life... Please note! "Time wasted is life wasted".
The future of the country depends upon the condition and quality of the students. Students may be described as the very roots of the nation. Therefore, we must pour water of the divine force into the very roots. Students may also be compared to the creepers bearing flowers. If we allow these creepers to grow as they please, they grow in a wild and disorderly manner without beauty and symmetry. Therefore, we must prune each creeper so that its shape may be beautiful and it may not grow in a wild fashion without any beauty. The beauty of life depends upon our good habits. The period of student days is so sacred and most important in life.
So, the students must be disciplined in their minds and habits and must fill their minds with pure thoughts and try to enforce and put into practice all those good thoughts in day-today life and in their day-to-day activities. Only then can they attain the right stage of development.
"A better quality of life is much more than the material standard of living." Our children need a safe environment to live in.
Love must be regulated and directed by intelligence and discrimination or else it may cause even injury and defeat.
Please follow this advise:
"If someone in your family needs help... Get it!"
"If someone in your family needs to be informed... Do it!"
"If your child's behaviour is suspicious... Investigate it!"
"If your neighborhood is promoting prevention... Support it!"
Remember!... "If you hide addiction... IT STAYS!"
It is significant to note that drug trafficking have "even surpassed international oil trading as money spinner and is second only to arms trade".
The lucrative trade in drugs has made its distribution widespread and caused serious sosio-economic problem in both developed and developing nations. Drug traffickers are in fact known to be using complex corporate structures and dealing in intricate business transactions involving banks, trust companies, financial institutions and real estate firms.
"THE PROBLEM OF DRUG ABUSE"
During the early 1960s, the 'hippie' subculture swept the West making a deep impact on human civilization. A typical 'hippie' was seen as a young unkempt person wearing gaudy coloured casual clothes and long hair, advocating freedom of thought and expression, and rejecting many of the conservative standards and values of society... Smoking cannabis (ganja) was their favourite form of drug abuse.
Our local youths copied this lifestyle to a certain extent. Although with hindsight, we can say that the hippie movement did have some positive effects, its permissiveness paved the way for the greatest scourge mankind has even known: "Drug Abuse".
When drugs are abused, the result can be devastating - for the abuser, for those who care about him or her, and for society at large? Dependence on commonly abused drugs has become one of the leading public health problems. The escalating drug toll is quiet unacceptable... In terms of "wasted lives, distabilized families, and rising crime rates, quite apart from the high costs of funding research programs, rehabilitation centres and specialized law-enforcement agencies."
The severe harm addiction causes the human body and the difficulty of overcoming the problem are beyond doubt.
Repeated use of drugs can cause the user to become dependent on them. Physical dependence on a drug like heroin, for example; is characterized by increasing tolerance to the drug - that is, the user has to take ever larger doses in order to achieve the same degree of drug - induced euphoria, or 'high'. And this of course makes the withdrawal symptoms, (the often severe physical reactions the user may experience when denied the drug) much worse. Traditionally, drug addiction has been defined as physical dependence.
Today, the term drug addiction usually refers to a behavioral pattern marked by compulsive use of a drug and a preoccupation with getting it.
"Drug abuse" has been rated as "one of the world's greatest enemies". Society has ascribed the cause of this scourge to the moral degradation of our youths who have strayed from their normal family home environment to be enticed by influences outside the home. "Many use drugs as a means to escape from unhappy home situations."
Parents who are too busy to attend to the social and spiritual needs of their adolescent children often neglect them to the extent of driving them to seek solace in drug addiction. The lack of proper parental guidance and supervision and the low regard for values of life, such as morality and spirituality has to a large extent contributed to this negative state of affairs. Many addicts began with no intention what soever of becoming addicted but they were sadly mistaken when they became enslaved to the habit.
Drug abusers invariable progress on to hard drugs and 'mainliners' live under the perpetual threat of an overdose. The common habit of sharing needles to 'fix' or inject drugs into one's body system by hard-core 'mainliners', is "one of the principle causes of the spread of AIDS" now threatening the country.
According to reports a vast majority (98.8%) of addicts are men, with more than 80% of them aged 20 and 39 years. More than 41% of addicts cought the habit because of peer pressure, 36.8% were seeking pleasure on their own initiative, while 15.6% took drugs out of curiosity. Others became addicted to overcome mental stress (40%), as a result of medical treatment (1%) by accident (0.4%) and (0.1%) as sexual stimulant.
How can parents tell if their in the adolescent age group (12 to 21 years) are on drugs? Millions of parents are quite rightly concerned about this problem and worry about the appeal of drugs to youngster.
What they are obviously concerned about is illicit drug use? Your suspicious that one of your children is involved in drug-taking may be aroused by an unexpected change in his or her behaviour patterns. He or she may appear confused, have slurred speach, become aggressive, paranoid or depressed, suffer weight loss, display red eyes, drowsiness, reveal declining performance at school, etc.
If face with irrefutable evidence, it is best not to over dramatise the situation but to get the help of trained counsellors who will best know how to handle the situation.
"The worst action, would be to deny that the problem exists."
"ALCOHOLISM"
The term 'alcoholic' is hard to define exactly since people have different reactions to alcohol and the way they use it. It usually takes 10 to 15 years of drinking five or more drinks a day (less for woman) for a person to develop what might be called the full alcohol syndrome - that is, a state of physical dependence with serious damage to health and social relationship. In essence, alcoholism is not measured by the amount of alcohol consumed, but rather by the way a person uses alcohol to deal with life's problem, and its effects on one's physical well-being.
Alcoholism is a chronic illness which manifests itself as a disorder of behaviour. It is characterized by the repeated drinking of alcoholic beverages, to an extent that exceeds customary social customs.
Chronic alcohol abuse can damage all vital organs in the body. One of alcohol's most damaging effects is on the brain and mental disorders.
Pubs have mushroomed all over towns and are luring our youths to indulge in the drinking habit. Certain undesirable shows are known to take place in pubs and discos contrary to the license issued to such establishments exposing to the risk of the premises being raided by the police.
For person in the lower rungs of the social scale, toddy provides the much needed solace for them to relax. Quite a number of them however imbibe the brew in excess and as a result become drunk and boisterous thus creating domestic violence at home.
Many from the low income group also indulge in drinking 'samsu' distilled from rice. But what worries the authorities is the consumption of cheap illicit 'samsu' (distilled under most unhygienic conditions) by unwary drinkers, leading to many cases of death, that had occurred arising from drinking such toxic brews.
To experience worldly pleasure there must be an external object or partner but to gain mental happiness, it is not necessary to drink alcohol.

Ambil lagi satu contoh:
Proses pemakanan yang kita makan setiap hari yang mampu menukarkan menjadi "setitik darah". Adakah itu juga ciptaan manusia?
Ingat!

IF ONE CANNOT COMMAND RESPECT IN SOCIETY - OF WHAT VALUE IS HIS EDUCATION
Education is an ornament for man. It is his secret wealth. It Confers
prosperity and fame. It is the teacher of teachers. It is one's unfailing kinsman in foreign travel. It secures the respect of rulers more than wealth.
Education is the basis for leading a purposeful life in the physical world, in the realm of the mind and in society. It equips one with the mental strength and steadiness to face the challenges in life. It enables one to understand the myriad manifestation in nature.
It is only when one understands the powers of his mind that he can recognize the relationship between the world and the society. Real education should enable one to realize that mankind is one family.
It should help one to experience the unifying forces in society.
Unfortunately, education today is not promoting these objectives. We have no lack of intelligent men in the world today. There are any number of Scientists. It is because the intelligentsia and the Scientists have not been educated on the right lines that the world is plunged in chaos and disorder.
Education today is concerned mainly with "satisfying the senses" and "developing intellectual skill". Ignores the development of virtous qualities.
Despite the committees and commissions set up by Government to suggest reforms in education, no resolute efforts have been made to effect the necessary reforms. The main reason for this failure is the lack of unity. Unity is essential for any achievement. All the ills the nation is suffering from are due to the absence of unity and the preoccupation of ephemeral objectives. There is nothing that cannot be achieved through unity.
Education should promote discrimination and humility. The quantitative explosion in the number of educational institutions - schools, colleges and universities - has been accompanied by a corresponding decline in the quality of education. To have no respect for your betters, to be ungrateful to those who have fostered you, to revile even the teacher who taught you;
"Can this be called 'progress' in education?"
There is little evidence of morality in society. There is a general decline in character and conduct.
Can there be anything more unfortunate for the country? Most students are not aware of even the meaning of culture. Every country has their own culture... Is today unaware of the magnitude of its greatness.
Do you know that:
Culture refines the human spirit and makes one a complete human being... Today no attempt is made to understand the truth relating to the body, the mind and the Creator. Culture seeks to integrate the various aspects of daily life and develop a unified outlook.
Students should realize, culture is meant for all mankind to reveal to the world to path to the Devine.
Today, one finds that the virtues exhibited by illeterate villagers and uneducated folk in the rural areas are not to be seen among the educated urban population. In fact:
Wherever schools, courts and administrative offices have multiplied... that we witness an 'increasing' corruption, injustice and wickedness.
In seeking to lead a free and unrestrained life, people are falling prey to the desires of their senses. "Educational Institution, which should be heavens of peace and serenity", are haunted by fears of insecurity.
"The true aim of education is to prepare the student for a useful role in society with the help of the knowledge he has got and for leading an ideal life".
Science and technology have made great advances in recent years and have a prominent place in education. It is true that Science has helped to improve the conditions of living. But the harm it is doing outweights the benefit. Man has lost "peace of mind" and "the sense of security".
The growth of videos, radios, television, cinemas and air travel has been stupendous. But there is no sign in any growth in "Divine Vision".
With the result that daily life is becoming precarious.... Morality and justice have declined. This must be acribed mainly to the craze of aquiring modern Scientific gadgets.
Many middle class people, who have moderate incomes. Wish to acquire motor vehicles, TV sets and the likes which they cannot afford to buy from their regular incomes. "These leads to corruption and bribery".
Even "education has become expensive" and far beyond "the means of middle class earners", so, in addition, there is a tendency to show off before others, to appear to be better off than one really is.
This kind of ostentation is another cause of fall in moral standards among lawyers, doctors and other professional people. There is nothing wrong with Science as such. It is the way it is used that produces bad consequences.
In the reform of the educational system, it is necessary to ensure that students learn about the right use of Science. True education must enable one to gain ("realization of the Creator who creates their body and this universe").
Instead of emphasising this need, modern education creates many problems and dificulties for the students.
Acquiring a small fragment of knowledge, a student gets inflated notions of himself.
With this sort of conceit, he develops a contempt for his own culture. This is not what true education should aim at.
"Education should be divorced from job-hunting".
Its primary purpose should enable the educated person to lead an honourable and meaningful life in society.
If one cannot command respect in society, of what value is his education?
Education should make a man recognized his obligations to his parents and others who have made him what he is...! Gratitude is a supreme virtue. If one cannot be grateful to his parents, his education is waste.
Dear students!
In the pursuit of your studies, you must place the interests of the nation above your personal interests. The "receiving of a degree is not the end of education". Your education will be worthwhile only when you lead exemplary lives in the service of society.
"DUTY OF THE EDUCATED":
In ancient days high value was attached to educations and the students led simple lives. Their clothes and their manners were dignified. Today such simplicity and dignity are not to be seen among students or teacher generally.
Discipline is at a discount. More than ever it is essential for educated persons today to conduct themselves as men of honour and integrity and raise the moral level of the society.
Even in pursuing the spiritual path, the process should not be from "Nature to Spirit or God"; but from "Spirit or God to Nature". By seeking to master the forces of Nature through education, people tend to become "subjects of nature".
To all institution's, live up to the motto:
"Speak the truth: Be Righteous".
These injuctions must propperly understood. Adhering to 'Truth' means "living up to transcendental Truth which is the external verity that is true for all times - past, present and future".
"THE AIM OF EDUCATION SHOULD BE TO SERVE THE NATION"
The bonds of love that existed between the 'gurus' and the disciples in the past, do not exist today between "teachers and students". The 'guru' considered it his duty to teach the disciple what was most benificial for the latter and the disciple loved to render service to the 'guru' and carry out implicity his commands.
In those days the students were few and they received intensive instruction. Today the students are numerous and education is diluted.
"Far reaching reforms are needed in the educational system today".
The future progress and welfare of the nation depend upon how education is imparted. Students must be imbued with genuine... "Patriotism":
Starting with "love and reverence for the parents", students should "cultivate love and reverence for the Motherland".
And all education must be preparation for serving the nation.
To all policy makers, to all educationist and to all students:
Broden your vision. Cultivate the spirit of love. Being endowed with the human form, you must strive to develop human values and not stray away from the path of righteousness. Fill your minds with sublime thoughts and your hearts with divine feelings.
"Consider the entire society as your home only then you will realize genuine unity with all". Redeem your lives by revering your parents, honouring your teachers and developing a loving faith in 'God'. In this way, you can lead dedicated lives in the spirit of the injuntion of the Quran or Upanishad. Thereby you will grow in your self-esteem. Fill your life with 'joy'.
"Be happy - Make others happy - All will be happy".
Education must be regarded as sacred process and preparation of unselfish service to society. There are innumerable person in the world who are suffering from various physical and other disabilities. It is the duty of educated persons to serve them and help to relieve their suffering to the maximum extent possible.
This is the best form of service to the society. There is pollution in the air, in the water we use and impurity in so many things. You must use knowledge you acquire to purify what is impure.
Service to society must become the primary purpose of education. Students should devote their knowledge not only to earn a living, but to use their talents and energies in whatever walk of life they may be engaged, to render service to society in all ways open to them.
How can a student be regarded as a success if they cannot command respect in society. How can a student be regarded as a success if, at the end of the course, he knocks at the door of every office exhibiting the diploma he has secured, and clamouring like a beggar asking for jobs? Education has been conferred on him this disgraceful role. Can it claim that it has done its duty?
No. The educated person must serve the society, through sweat and toil. Education has to inspire youth to offer service, to sacrifice and to help. It must not inspire youth to amass money as its goal, and to travel farther and farther to earn and more of it.
What is the root-cause of all the disorder, chaos, crime, falsehood and violence that prevail in the country today? It is the behaviour of people contrary to the dignity of human nature that is responsible for the present situation. All the education that one receives has no relation to human values.
Please bear in mind:
Today, whatever prosperity one enjoys, whatever comforts one secures, all of them are derived from society. Some rules .... Code of duties have been laid down for ensuring that the wealth that is earned from society is devoted to benefit of society.
All one's action are based upon the tendencies of the mind. No change in any form of activity is possible unless the mind is changed.

MENGAWAL LIDAH
Dalam ertikata lain;
Ingat!

Dalam ertikata lain;
Ingat!

THE SCIENTIST AND THE SAINT. SCIENCE ARE LEADING MAN AWAY FROM PEACE. SPIRITUALITY ALONE CAN GIVE YOU ENDURING BLISS
The word 'MAN' has several meaning. One of them is that "man has an ancient origin". 'Man indicate' that "man is 'not new'". He had a long past.
Another meaning of the word is "One who lives without ignorance".
The reason for this is the fact that in man there is a sacred principle composed of the five '5' basic elements:
1. Ether (Upper Air)
2. Air
3. Fire
4. Water
5. Earth
If we examine the nature of the human state from the scientific point of view, it is found that "the tissues of the human body are composed of the four elements":
Hydrogen, Oxygen, Nitrogen and Carbon. The unified expression of these four elements is the human condition.
Ignoring this unity, scientists today are seeking to explore the nature of matter by breaking up the "Love Principle". Please note!...
"The Spirit of Love is Spirituality".
"Splitting of Love is Science".
Scientists are "exploring matter by dividing Love". They are unaware of The Nature of Love. They are "ignorance of Purity".
Scientists are "imbued only with a sense of enquiry into matter".
Consequently, today there is a complete divorce between Science and Spirituality.
"Scientists are not examining the relationship between matter and energy in the correct way". Scientists hold view that matter is convertible into energy and vice versa. But "in fact, the two are not separate".
"They are inseparably interlinked and interpendent". The attempts to divide matter and energy have given rise to many doubts and confusions.
What is the new discovery that Scientists have made today?
All their discoveries are of what already existed. Take for instance.... gravity.
Gravity has existed from the beginning of creation. Newton sought to find out the laws governing gravitation. He did not discover the phenomenon anew... He only found out what already existed. That the earth had gravitational attraction was known even before Newton investigated it.
Likewise, matter and energy have existed from the time of creation....
"Both are comprehended by the mind only".
Please note;
When the mind functions in relation to the Divine it acquires the form of energy. When the mind is turned towards...'Nature' the latter assumes the form of matter.
Mind is the cause of experiencing joy or sorrow and for comprehending matter and energy. Recognizing this quality of the mind, the sages declared;
"The mind is the cause of liberation or bondage for humanity".
"There are 'two concepts' 'ONE' seeing" and two that which is seen. It is because of the power of sight that we are able to see the visible objects.
It is because the objects are there, we are able to see them. There is thus "an inextricable relationship between seeing and what is seen". Today, it is because we separate seeing from the things seen that sorrow arises. Seeing and that which is seen should become one.
"The 'ONE' in the 'MANY'" :
What is purity? This has been characterised "as energy or power". Purity has been described as the state of desirelessness in man. When there are desires, sorrow also dogs them... Like a shadow. When there is sorrow there can be no purity.... Remember!
"The mind is the cause of both desires and purity".
Do you realize!... The unity that underlies the diversity.
In this context, the concepts have to be understood.
Although human beings differ in form and characteristics in various respects, they belong to human species. In terms of the human body, every human being has one thing in common regardless of other differences:
"Differences of races, religion, caste, language or community do not affect oneness of humanity".
It is belonging to the same species... Whether one is an American, Malaysian, a Chinaman or an Indian... He is human being.
You must also understand differences between species. For instance, there is nothing in common with a human being and a tree.
The tree does not belong to the same species as man. There may be innumerable varities among trees but;
"All of them belong to the Vegetable Kingdom."
There are differences between the human species and the species of trees. These difference are covered by the term (differentiation among species).
Differentiation among species, relates to functional differentiation. For instance man has hands, legs, ears, eyes, mouth and other organs all in the same body. Blood is the same. The heart is one only. But each organ discharges only its specific function. The eyes can only see, but cannot hear. The ears can only hear, but cannot see. The body is ONE but each organ and limb performs only its particular function.
Scientists today are accomplishing any number of things. But there are unable to recognize the divine potency that exists in the human being... Here is an example;
The earth is one. When a lemon seed is planted, the fruit that comes from the lemon plant tastes sour. If the mango seed is planted and a tree groes from it, the fruit of that tree tastes very sweet. If a neem seed is planted, the fruit from the neem tree is bitter in taste. The soil is the same; But the fruits from the different trees have different tastes.
Likewise, although all human beings are made up of the same elements,... hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen and carbon, "individuals vary in their mental and other qualities".
What is the reason for these innumerable differences?
What is the force that is behind these genetic differences?
When they are able to understand the reason for these infinite differences, the scientists will achieve fullness in their knowledge.
"The truth is 'no one can determine' the magnitude or range of power of Divine".
The fundamental difference between science and spirituality is this;
"Science is concerned with investigating the external phenomenal universe".
"Spirituality is engaged in exploring the inner workings of Divine".
The 'Scientist' is one who has "an external vision".
The 'ONE' who has "internal vision is 'Saint'".
Matter and Spirit may be regarded as two semicircles, Scientists are only investigating matter and are ignoring the Spirit.
The Scientist is the one who enquires into the "nature of creation". "The Saint is one who seeks to Know The Creator". The Scientist is preoccupied only with studying creation...
"What about the Creator?"
"Once you understand The Creator", you can understand "the whole of creation". Please understand!
'Creation' (the phenomenal universe) is within the comprehension of the senses. All that we hear, see and experience are within the purview of our senses.
We refer to all these things as "this", "this" and "this". But what is beyond the senses is reffered to as "that"? The term "that" refers to "something which is distant". From what is "that" distant? From what is "this" near? We use the term "This" to refer to things which are "within the purview of the senses"; "That" refers to what is "beyond senses".
So, what is beyond the senses has been called (spiritual). What is below the senses has been called (elemental, constituted by the five elements). We are simultaneously below the senses and above the senses.
"Below the senses is the body".
"Beyond the senses is the spiritual heart".
If you wish to understand 'your true nature', you have to do 'THREE' things;
1. "Bend the Body" : Means, you should not allow the 'EGO' to develop within your body. Cultivate humility and do your duties
sincerely. This is what is implied in a "Bend your Body".
2. "Mend the Senses" : Calls for examining how the senses
behave, whether they are tending to go astray, and
correcting and restraining them when necessary.
3. "End the Mind" : Calls for quietening the vagaries of the mind.
How is this to be done? It is by turning the mind in a different
direction.
For example, there is a lock and key. When the key is turned towards the left, the lock gets locked. If the key turned towards the right , the lock is opened.
Thus the key performs both functions of locking and unlocking.
Please note:
'Science' can offer you only "temporary worldly comforts". "Spirituality alone can give you enduring bliss". All the amenities which provide temporary comfort also give rise to unhappiness.
A person may be sitting in an air-conditioned room. But his mind is filled with anxiety and worry. His brain is heated. One who has peace of mind will experience no discomfort even he is in forest. Peace, therefore cannot be got through science. In fact, "science and technology today are leading man away from peace".
Is any Scientist enjoying peace of mind? No. "He is leading an utterly artificial life". He is filled with worries. His mind knows no rest.
All the ills of man today are due to the fact that his mind is never restful and quiet. The mind is preoccupied with worries. Even an inanimate machine needs some period of rest. But no rest is given to the mind.
If we desire peace for the individual, for the society, and for the nation. It can only be achieved through spiritual means. Hence, recognizing the truth, without attaching excessive importance to worldly comforts. We must make every effort to acquire peace of mind.
No doubt physical comforts are necessary upto a point. But "they should be limited to meeting the basic demands of nature".
For instance, man requires sleep. Similarly peace of mind should be got through natural means. The "Spiritual Path" is the only way to achieve...
"The peace that passeth understanding".

'MATI'...
Nasihat saya:
"Dunia dikejar, akhirat dijunjung!"
Kenapa perlu kita ditakuti? Apakah yang memungkinkan kita berasa takut? Bukankah kita semua perlu sedar "bahawa setiap kelahiran diiringi kematian?"
Ingat!...
Jika tiada kematian, maka tiada kehidupan.
MENGUCAP!... MENGUCAP!... MENGUCAPLAH BANYAK-BANYAK!!!.....

'MATI'...
Nasihat saya:
"Dunia dikejar, akhirat dijunjung!"
Kenapa perlu kita ditakuti? Apakah yang memungkinkan kita berasa takut? Bukankah kita semua perlu sedar "bahawa setiap kelahiran diiringi kematian?"
