BUILDING A SUCCESSFUL MARRIAGE

There are no short - cuts to happiness in marriage. No two human beings can possibly live together in an intimate emotional relationship for a long period of time without having some misunderstanding or friction from time to time. In marriage, both the husband and wife must think more of the partnership than they do of themselves. This partnership is an interweaving of interests, and sacrifies will have to be made for the sake of both parties. It is from mutual understanding and concern that security and contentment in marriage can be established. In a successful marriage, a partner must not always try to get things his or own way. This brings to mind a humorous saying - "Man has his will but woman has her way." There is only one path to be trodden by both, it may be uneven, bumpy and sometimes difficult, but it is always a 'mutual path'. A happy marriage is not one in which we are to exist with eyes closed. We see fault as well as virtues, and we should accept the fact that no one is perfect. "A husband and wife must learn to share the happiness and pain in their daily lives. Mutual understanding is the secret formula of a happy marriage." Marriage is a blessing, but unfortunately, many people treat it otherwise due to a lack of correct communication and understanding. Most of the marital troubles and worries which normally arise are due to an unwillingness of one partner to compromise and be patient with the other. The golden role to avoid a minor misunderstanding being blown out of proportion is to be patient, tolerant, and understanding. Human beings are emotional and hence are liable to get into arguments which lead them to be angry. Husbands and wives should do their utmost for both not to be angry at the same time. This is the golden rule for a happy married life. If both parties are not angry at the same time, problem can easily be resolved by adopting the noble spirit of patience, tolerance and understanding. The husband should treat his wife with respect, understanding and consideration and not as a servant nor as a doll in his hands. Although he may be regarded as the bread-winner of the family, it is also his duty to help his wife with the household work whenever he is free. The wife on the other hand, should not always nag or grumble at her husband over trivial matter, if he really has certain shortcomings. She should try to talk with him and point out his mistakes. A spouse should try to tolerate and handle many things without bothering. The partner, especially when there are problems affecting one's career. If one is inclined towards jealousy, one must try to restrain suspicions over the partner's movements since they may not at all be justifiable. "Mutual respect and trust, are of paramount importance in a happy Union." Being Diplomatic. There was a very hot tempered woman who always scolded her husband for minor mistakes by saying, "You are a stupid idiot." The husband was very tolerant man and kept quiet when he was scolded. However, one day, when the wife shouted, "You are a stupid idiot," the husband said, "I think you are right. If I am not a stupid idiot, do you think I would ever have married a women like you?" From the day onward she never uttered such words. Sex In Marriage Sex should be given its due place in a happy marriage. "Like fire, sex is a good servant but can be bad master." It should neither be unhealthily repressed nor morbidly exaggerated. The desire for sex, like any other desire, must be regulated by reason. Although it is an important element in the happiness of most married couples. Please note: It is necessary to understand that one can be happy without giving sex a paramount role. On the other hand, one can have a good sex life and still be unhappy. Real love is not just physical, it is a 'SPIRITUAL COMMUNION' a meeting of minds. Please remember ! Sex is much more than physical gratification. It is the basis for an intimate life-long companionship. Down through the ages, love and mutual respect have been shown to be the basis for close intimacy between the sexes. The definition of intimacy is the sharing of feelings, not information. Couples who are not intimate will tend to talk of frivolous subjects like the weather, the latest TV shows or what to eat for dinner. They never make it a point to let each other know if they are really happy, unhappy, frightened, worried or any other such intimate feelings. They are also not interested to know how their partner really feels. The married couple should make every effort to cultivate the timeless virtues of love, fidelity and decency. Real growth only comes through the development of these virtues. None can repeal the cosmic moral law of cause and effect, of the lasting unity of all human beings. The hope of personal growth and harmony in society lies in the recognition of this basic law, rather than. Surrendering oneself to base and coarse animal instincts which only bring suffering to those whom we dearly love. Self respect, human dignity or humane qualities are eroding in modern society. There is a saying that a marriage between a bad husband and a bad wife is like one vampire existing with another. Marriage between a bad men and a good women is like a vampire, existing with an angel. Married life between a good man and a bad woman is like an angel living with a vampire. Married life between a good man and a good woman is like an angel living with another angel. There is a joke about married life by saying; "A good marriage would be between a blind wife and deaf husband." Having a good marriage: "Marriage resembles a pair of scissors joined together so that they cannot be separated. Often they move in opposite directions. But woe betide anyone who comes between them." SEBELUM TIDUR HENDAKLAH TENTUKAN KEDUDUKAN 'HATI' KITA

Sebelum tidur hendaklah tentukan kedudukan 'HATI' kita. Adakah ia meletakkan dirinya sama ada sebagai 'PENCINTA DUNIA' atau 'PENCINTA ALLAH'. Apabila seseorang bersiap untuk 'TIDUR', itu adalah sebahagian daripada 'MATI'. Meskipun bernafas dan jantung berdegup, tetapi tidak sedar apa yang berlaku di sekitarnya. 'TIDUR' dianggap sebahagian besar daripada 'MATI'. Bererti peluang hidup hanya sedikit peratusnya. Orang tidur itu jika dibuka kelopak matanya, dia tidak melihat, dicubit kulitnya pun ia tidak merasa sakit, dan sebagainya. Menyedari kedudukan dirinya menghadapi sebahagian daripada 'KEMATIAN', terjaga daripada 'TIDUR' adalah "mendapat semula sebahagian daripada 'HIDUPNYA'". Justeru, sebelum 'TIDUR' hendaklah tentukan kedudukan 'HATINYA', adakah dia meletakkan dirinya sama ada sebagai 'PENCINTA DUNIA' atau 'PENCINTA ALLAH'. Semua adab tingkah laku sebelum tidur, seperti; Bersugi, berwuduk, berdoa, membaca Ayatul Kursi, dan Tiga Qul, badan mengiring ke kanan menghadap Qiblat, semuanya itu bersandarkan CINTANYA kepada ALLAH dan RASUL-Nya. Adab tersebut memimpin manusia untuk menerokai sebahagian daripada 'KEMATIANNYA' semasa 'TIDUR'. Jika TUHAN rezekikan dengan dikembalikan sebahagian daripada 'USIAnya', mudah-mudahan mereka mengamalkan 'KEBAIKAN' untuk dirinya sendiri. 'ADAB TIDUR' sebenarnya bersederhana dalam menyediakan tempat tidur, selagi tidak terlalu 'bermewah' dengan tilam berharga ratusan ringgit, dan katil berukir mewah, hingga membazir dengan rezeki Tuhan. Apatah lagi untuk mempamerkan kemewahan dan kemampuan dalam berbelanja. Rezeki kurniaan ALLAH sepatutnya digunakan untuk mencari keredaan-Nya. Ada seseorang itu tidak tidur selagi tidak didatangi rasa mengantuk. Tidak wajar paksa diri untuk tidur, kecuali bertujuan untuk bangun di hujung malam, untuk memmbaca kitab atau menulis rencana. Kita diberi nasihat, hendaklah kita tentukan 'HATI' kita agar dalam tempoh 24 jam sentiasa dalam keadaan 'SIAP SEDIA'. Kerana manusia dicipta untuk mencari 'KEREDAAN ALLAH SWT.' Jika Insan yang hidup sementara mendapat kurnia Tuhan dengan kemewahan dan kekayaan - 'BUKAN MATLAMAT HIDUP SEBAGAI SEORANG ISLAM'. Sebaliknya sekadar jambatan menuju keredaan Allah SWT. Sedikit tip. Ada amalan Rasulullah s.a.w sebelum tidur membaca 'TIGA QUL' iaitu surah al-Ikhlas, surah al-Falaq, dan surah An-Nas. Setelah membaca surah 'tiga Qul' itu lalu beliau Rasulullah 'menghembus kepada dua tapak tangannya, kemudian disapu ke mukanya, diusap arah kepalanya sampai ke hujung kaki. Dengan niat untuk jaga tubuh badan dan sebagainya'. Kalau kita membaca ayat Kursi, sama ada daripada "Wa ila hukum" atau "Allahu la ila ha illahu" sehingga "Hifdzuhuma wahuwal 'aliyyul 'adzim", ulang tiga kali dengan niat jaga tubuh serta keluarga dan rumahtangga, juga harta benda, daripada gangguan makhluk berbahaya, iaitu syaitan seteru manusia yang sebenar. Allah SWT tidak merasa berat memelihara langit dan bumi, tentulah sangat mudah dan ringan menjaga diri manusia dan keluarga, serta harta kepunyaannya yang amat sedikit jika dibandingkan Kepunyaan Allah SWT. Justeru, peliharalah mereka yang mohon pertolongan penjagaan Allah Yang Maha Tinggi, Maha Besar KekuasaanNya. Rasulullah s.a.w juga bertaqdis, bertahmid dan bertakbir 33 kali sebelum tidur (Subhanallah, Walhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar), seperti yang diajarkan kepada puteri kesayangannya Siti Fatimah. Ketika Fatimah r.anha mengemukakan permohonannya supaya diberikan hamba sahaya (orang gaji), untuk membantu tugasnya yang meletihkan. Tetapi Nabi s.a.w tidak memperkenankan permintaan puterinya. Sebaliknya untuk menghilangkan penat dan keletihan, Nabi s.a.w memberi amalan seperti ayat di atas, dalam setiap pekerjaan. IT IS THE SOUL EXPERIENCE THAT MATTERS

All days are beautiful! It is not the days that matter but what goes on deep within you as each day passes. It is the soul experience that matters, and the soul should contemplate the glory of GOD at all times, regardless of the weather! Man tends to live out his life like a cork floating in the sea, tossed about by the waves without the sense of direction. That is not the purpose of life. "You do not expect to see a car travelling along the road without a driver at the wheel, or to see him asleep at the wheel." But that is exactly what is happening in many of our lives.... No direction, no awakening, just the experiencing of events and the needless problems of everyday life. Actually you are 'the driver' and you alone can pilot your way through life, choosing your own path. There are many paths but there is only one that will lead you back to GOD;.... "THE SPIRITUAL PATH". However, you can find GOD along before you complete the journey, for GOD is always with you. You do not see Him because your eyes are clouded by illusion and you are looking elsewhere, drawn away by the materialism that you can see all around you. You become attached to the material world and everything in it and your whole life revolves around it... The desires, the pleasures, the fascinations, the material rewards, anything which feeds or swells the ego, that are the things that your vision becomes clouded and the truth hidden from view or distorted. The thought of searching for the truth does not even occur to you and you remain at the lower levels of consciousness. Then one day,something happens,perhaps a traumatic experience, and you begin to stir from the sleeping state. These are the first signs of an inner awakening; You begin to wonder what life is all about and why the path which you have been following has brought you so little satisfaction, and certainly no peace of mind or a lasting happiness. You start to look around and, eventually, you look within for that is where the solution lies to all your problems.... Heaven lies within, not in some distant part of the universe. Ask your self how all this applies to you. Where are you now, and where are you going? Are you happy, and have you experience.... Absolute peace of mind? If not, you now have the opportunity to change your ways and take control of your driverless car. No longer will you be the victim of events, no will the world determine your future. What a bleak future that would be! Your future is assured once you find your own true self, the real you, that lives deep in your heart. Be your real self from the morning till night and.... Walk hand in hand with GOD in all that you do, knowing that nothing can harm you, ultimate bliss is inevitable. It is the only path, the divine path, and it is there in front of you now. Start the new journey hand in hand with GOD at this very moment and never turn back. The path ahead is glorious and will being peace of mind, something which has eluded you for so long. 'AIR MANI YANG PENUH RAHSIA'

Jika dilihat dengan mikroskop, terdapat berjuta-juta baka manusia. Laksana 'jentik-jentik' yang bergerak aktif. Berenang melalui falop mendekati dan bercantum dengan telur wanita... Itulah 'NUFTAH' atau 'AIR MANI'. Pertemuan luar biasa di dalam rahim itu sebagai 'PERMULAAN KEJADIAN INSAN'. Jika ditakdirkan tiada izin Allah SWT, persenyawaan baka lelaki dan telur wanita itu menjadi makhluk, maka telur wanita itu akan bertukar menjadi... darah haid, yang menjadi kitaran bulanan, selagi tidak hamil. Pertemuan baru dalam dunia Sains Perubatan, menyebabkan manusia semakin rapat dengan Allah SWT. Ahli Sains dan doktor berkaitan yang mempunyai asas ilmu agama, akan menggeleng-gelengkan kepalanya, kerana mengkagumi dan menyedari 'Kebijaksanaan Allah SWT Yang Maha Pencipta. Sebaliknya jika para Saintis dan doktor tidak mempunyai asas agama, mereka akan merasa dirinya bagaikan 'TUHAN', kerana boleh buat apa saja yang luar biasa, melalui penemuan dan kepakarannya. Bukankah kita ini, pembaca yang sedang membaca penulisan ini, termasuk saya selaku penulis, terjadi daripada 'AIR MANI' yang mengandungi baka yang terlalu 'seni'. Kemuudian daripadanya, terjadi pula pelbagai komponen anggota tubuh badan manusia. Daripada 'AIR MANI' yang hina itu juga terbentuk sifat-sifat yang 'TERPUJI' (mahmudah) seperti berani, pemurah, simpati, kasih sayang kepada penderitaan seseorang. Juga sifat sebaliknya, sifat-sifat tercela (mazmumah), seperti takabur, dusta, jahil, suka berbalah, cemburu, iri hati dengan orang lain, dan sebagainya. Cuba renung, amati dan perhatikan, daripada AIR MANI juga akan lahir 'ANAK' yang menjelma, juga menyalin iras wajah ibu dan bapanya. malah berkemungkinan menyalin perangai ibu bapanya hingga ke peringkat datuk, keturunan yang ke tujuh (7). Sayangnya kini ramai yang tidak sedar dan tidak tahu menikmati kesyukuran atas kejadian dirinya yang telah diciptakan oleh ALLAH SWT. Malah manusia kini menjadi 'penentang', sebagaimana firman Tuhan bermaksud: "Dan apakah manusia tidak memerhatikan bahawa Kami menciptakan dia daripada setitik air (mani), maka tiba-tiba ia menjadi penentang yang nyata." (Surah Yassin, ayat 77). Ingatlah! Jika manusia sedar bahawa dirinya dicipta daripada 'AIR MANI' yang hina, sepatutnya dia bersyukur kepada Allah SWT, kerana dengan kuasaNya manusia boleh hidup di dunia ini. 'Boleh mengenali ALLAH SWT Maha Pencipta serta boleh menikmati dan mengecap nikmat kesegaran air dan aneka jenis makanan. Yang penting sekali ialah nikmat ILMU, IMAN, IHSAN, TAUHID dan MAKRIFAT. "Sebab itu kita dituntut - "AWAL-AWAL AGAMA MENGENAL ALLAH". Perlu diingat dan diketahui bahawa: "Wujud dirinya manusia itu, bukan semata-mata disebabkan IBU dan BAPANYA". "Lihat ADAM dan HAWA, tiada bapa, lihat ada ketikanya ibu yang mandul, seorang daripada orang tuanya mandul pun tidak memungkinkan dirinya wujud". Lantaran Allah SWT takdirkan ibu bapanya subur, tidak mandul, dapatlah dirinya lahir ke dunia ini sebentar untuk menikmati segalanya. Maka kita selaku MANUSIA sepatutnya dan hendaklah : "Memerhati keajaiban yang berlaku di sekeliling kita di muka bumi ini, hampir semuanya di muka bumi ini adalah 'AJAIB', 'MISTERI'. Dan ia termasuk KEJADIAN 'DIRI' kita sendiri yang sangat 'UNIK'". Mari saya bawa anda pembaca merenung dan membuka sedikit 'HIJAB' untuk kita perhatikan dan merasainya. Cuba perhatikan buah ciku, semasa putiknya, sungguh kelat, tiada siapa lalu untuk memakannya. Daripada putik yang kelat itu, setelah melalui proses seterusnya, setelah cukup tua dan ranum, akan bertukar menjadi sangat manis. Fikir dan renungkanlah!... Ke mana perginya rasa kelat semasa buah ciku putik itu? Daripada mana pula rasa 'manis' yang mengganti 'kelat', setelah ia masak ranum? Juga cuba perhatikan, mana ada sepohon pokok yang besar berada di dalam sebiji benih yang kecil? Tetapi di dalam sebiji benih yang kecil, terdapat sepohon pokok yang besar! kalau tidak percaya, tanamlah sebiji benih yang kecil, dijaga, dipupuk, dibaja, disiram,... ia akan muncul dan akan membesar, meninggi dengan megahnya, menyemai dan berkhidmat untuk manusia, kemudian lenyap. Banyak lagi contoh yang boleh dihuraikan, semua ganjil, misteri, dan ajaib, penuh dengan 'KERAHSIAAN', jika kita seorang 'perenung' dan 'pemikir'. Cuba bawa fikir ke dalam 'TUBUH' masing-masing pula, ia lebih 'MISTERI'. "Manusia yang buta mata hatinya, hanya melihat kejadian yang wujud di depan mata, sepatutnya 'hati' dan 'fikiran' merenung perkara yang sebaliknya, iaitu 'PENCIPTA'nya iaitu 'ALLAH SWT'". Insya-Allah! Hingga ke hari Kiamat, dalil tersebut amat penting kepada 'MANUSIA' untuk mengenali keajaibanNya. Jika manusia hidup sekadar memenuhi kemahuan dan nalurinya, maka tidak akan bertemu 'hakikat sebenar'. Sebaliknya jika dia sedar bahawa 'tugas hidup' amat mustahak dan amat penting, ketika itu dia akan menggunakan 'pemikirannya' untuk 'bertemu dengan ALLAH SWT'. Dalam Al-Quran, selain menceritakan kejadian alam serta hukum dan syariat, untuk jadi landasan hidup manusia, terdapat juga kisah Sejarah 'MANUSIA' baik-baik, juga Sejarah 'MANUSIA' yang sangat jahat, seperti 'FIR'AUN', 'HAMAN', 'QARUN', 'ABU LAHAB', 'ABU JAHAL', dan lain-lain. Orang baik-baik, seperti Nabi-Nabi, Rasul-Rasul, Sahabat-Sahabat Nabi, Wali-Wali Allah, juga Siddiqin, iaitu golongan yang menerima dan membenarkan apa jua yang disabdakan oleh Nabi S.A.W, juga para Syuhada, golongan gugur di medan jihad, melawan 'musuh Allah'. Solihin pula adalah golongan yang meneruskan kerja dan perjuangan para Nabi a.s. Ada pun ehwal para Nabi dibangkitkan, lantas didustai oleh kaumnya, pernah diserang dan dipukul oleh penentangnya. Malah sebahagian mereka ada yang dibunuh. Kemudian didapati mereka ditolong oleh ALLAH SWT, dipanjangkan hayatnya. Pembaca yang dikasihi! Semua kisah Sejarah sejak berjuta tahun, dapatlah kita simpulkan bahawa segalanya dengan 'KUDRAT' dan 'IRADAT' ALLAH SWT. Soal 'BAIK dan JAHAT' (QADA' dan QADAR), adalah dari ALLAH SWT. Ertinya: "Tiada kawan yang setia dan tiada musuh yang abadi." KECUALI yang 'BERKAWAN dengan ALLAH', akan dianugerah!... 'Kasih Sayang' dan satu-satunya 'KAWAN' yang 'KEKAL LAGI ABADI'. GOOD AND EVIL AS TWO FRUITS

Regard good and evil as two fruits from two branches of single tree. One of the two branches bears sweet fruits and the other bitter. "You must therefore leave the cities and provinces and regions of the earth which import the fruit gathered from this tree." "Keep your distance from them and their inhabitants,... and approach the tree itself." Become its steward and resident servant, and make yourself familiar with the two branches, the two fruits and the two sides. Stick to the side of the branch bearing sweet fruit, then you will always get your food and nourishment from it. Avoid and going over to the side of the other branch, lest you eat some of its fruit and perish from its bitterness. If you make this your regular habit, you will live in tranquility, security, comfort and safety from all injuries, because injuries and all kinds of calamities are caused by this fruit. If you move away from this tree, however, and go wandering far and wide, and then some of these fruits turn up in front of you, mixed together with nothing to distinguish the sweet from the bitter, and you take your pick, your hand may settle on the bitter sort. Then you put it to your mouth, take a bite out of it and chew it, and so the bitterness gets deep into your throat and inside your gullet, into your brain and your nasal passages, affecting you as it flows into your veins and the organs of your body until you die of it. You may spit the remainder out of your mouth and rinse away the traces, but to no avail. This cannot get rid of what has already spread throughout your body, so it will do you no good. Even if you start by eating some sweet fruit, and its sweetness spreads through all parts of your body to your benefit and delight, will not satisfied with this. You are bound to take another fruit and you cannot be sure that this second one will not be bitter, with the consequences we have just been telling you about. There is no good, therefore, in being far from the tree and ignorant of its fruit. Safety lies in getting close to it and staying there. Good and evil result from the working of (Lord) Allah (Almighty and Glorious is He). It is Allah who fashions them both and directs their course. As Allah (Great and Glorious is He) has said: "Allah has created you and your handiwork." Quran (37:96) According to the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace). "Allah has created the butcher and the beast he slaughters." Remember! The actions of His servants are created by Allah, and also what they earn. He says (Exalted is He). "Enter Paradise because of what you used to do." Quran (16:32) Glory be to Him, how Generous and Merciful is He! He ascribes the work to them, and says they are entitled to enter Paradise because of their deeds, although their success is due to His help and His mercy toward them in this world and the hereafter. Glory be to Him. How Generous and Merciful is He! The Prophet said: "No one enters Paradise on the strength of his own deeds." Someone asked: "Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied: "Not even I, unless Allah covers me with His mercy." Placing his hand on his head as he spoke. This is related in a tradition of A'isha (may Allah be well pleased with her). When you are obedient to Allah, carrying out His order, observing His prohibitions and submitting to Him in what He has ordained, He protects you from His evil and bestows His goodness upon you. He protects you from every kind of evil, religious and worldly. As for the worldly side, there is His saying: "So it was, that We might ward off him evil and lewdness; he was one of Our devoted servants.": Quran (12:24) On the religious side, we have His saying: "What concern has Allah for your punishment if you are thankful and believe? Allah is All. Thankful. All-Knowing." Quran (4:147). How should tribulation afflict a grateful believer, when he is so closer to well-being then to such affliction, because he is so thankful? Allah, Almighty has said: "If you are thankful, I will give you more." Quran (14:7). Your faith will extinguish the flames of hell fire in the hereafter, the fire that is the punishment of every sinner, so how can it fail to quench the fire of misfortunes in this world, O my God, unless the servant be one of ecstatics chosen for saintship, for special selection and preference? In that case trials are absolutely necessary, as the means by which he is purified of the filth of passion, unworthy natural tendencies, addiction to the desires and pleasures of the lower self, confidence in creatures, liking to be near them, relying on them, feeling secure with them and enjoying their company. He must be tested until all of this melts away, until the heart is cleansed by the departure of it all, so that nothing remains but affirmation of the Oneness of the Lord (tawhidu'-rabbi), intimate knowledge of him - and the channels of the Unseen, with all kinds of secrets, lore and the light of nearness. For it is a house with no room for two. He says: "Allah has not assigned to any man two hearts within his body." Quran (33-4). MENGAWAL AKAL DARI CELOTEH-CELOTEHNYA

SaudaraKu yang budiman lagi dikasihi; Akal anda selalu dilanda masalah dengan celoteh-celotehnya yang sukar dikawal bagaikan kapal yang hendak karam, anda kehilangan pendayung, anda tidak tahu mana haluan dan buritan - Sedangkan andalah Kaptennya - Nakhodanya, akhirnya anda terkandas dan karam terkapai-kapai. Mari ikut sedikit nasihat saya ini: - Ia bagaikan 'Kompas' yang diperlukan oleh sebuah kapal. Ia bagaikan sebuah 'Rumah Api' petunjuk ke arah pelayaran di lautan hidup yang maha luas ini. "AKAL sifatnya - berkeinginan, berkemahuan, merindui, menyimpan, mengeluarkan maklumat, sentiasa saja berusaha dan ingin bertindak." Proses-proses itulah digelar 'celoteh-celotehan akal', yang sering saja ingin memerintah, menguasai, menundukkan dan menekan. Justeru kita perlu awas akan kepelbagaiannya, kesahihannya dalam apa jua tindakan keinginan. Saudara pembaca perlu ketahui: "AKAL adalah penambat tetamu kepada sekurang-kurangnya LIMA PULUH JUTA tetamu yang suka berceloteh, yang muncul kemudian lenyap - Seperti AWAN, yang sekejap kelihatan, kemudian lenyap." Awan yang berlalu secara senyap, juga yang kekal mengacau di akal fikiran itulah yang membuat kegiatan dan pelbagai aktiti di akal itu. Itu juga celoteh-celotehnya yang akan membuatkan seseorang itu bingung, stres, letih, penat, lesu, tidak bermaya, dan cepat marah dan baran. Jika sekiranya sifat-sifat 'AKAL' itu benar-benar difahami akan 'latarbelakangnya' yang maha luas itu, ingat! Tiada manusia yang mampu hidup bahagia, aman dan tenang. Celoteh-celoteh akal yang baik mampu mencabut, mengumpul segala yang terbaik untuk menolong dirinya dan mengangkat dirinya ke arah kekuatan berfikir dan kecemerlangan. Kita manusia perlu mengenal dan mengecam celoteh-celoteh akal yang bersifat negatif sebaik saja ia menggesa, muncul dan cepat-cepat menukarkannya ke arah yang lebih positif, berprasangka baik, lebih bersistem. Hanya cara begitu saja mampu menyelamatkan kita manusia ke arah ketenangan yang cemerlang. Kapal-kapal di lautan yang terbentang luas dibimbing melalui 'Kompas' dan belayar mengikut arah yang diingini. Tanpanya bahaya sentiasa saja menanti di hadapan; Seperti terlanggar 'ketulan ais', atau 'batu karang'. Begitu juga kita manusia perlu melayari hidup ini melalui 'AKAL' yang dikurniakan sebagai 'Kompas' agar kita tidak banyak sangat melakukan kesilapan (seperti dosa). Lihat anak-anak muda zaman sekarang, mereka kehilangan haluan dan 'Kompas' dalam hidupnya, (merempit, hisap dadah, buang anak, dan lain-lain). Begitu juga yang dikatakan 'bijak pandai' di dunia ini, hilang 'jati diri' dan hilang 'haluan hidup'; Berbunuh-bunuh sesama sendiri kerana 'Gilakan kuasa', 'Gilakan harta', 'Gila menakluk', 'Gila menanam idealogi negatif', dan sebagainya... Justeru awas! Dunia tidak lagi aman untuk dihuni. "AKAL yang tidak bercelaru adalah AKAL yang terkawal." Semuanya itu perlu 'diteroka di dalam diri sendiri', bagaimana sukar sekalipun ianya. "Seseorang perlu mengemaskinikan AKALNYA"... Kerana AIR MUKA ADALAH GAMBARAN AKAL, kerana kerutnya, keinginannya, 'mood'nya adalah celoteh-celoteh dari dalam. Ambil contoh: 'C.D' apa yang terkandung di dalamnya adalah perkataan atau kata-kata, nyanyian atau bunyian - ia hanya mampu didengar, ia tidak mampu dilihat. Tetapi apa yang terkandung di dalam akal, contohnya; Kata-kata celoteh, kejahatan berasaskan amarah, kebencian, cemburu, putus asa, sombong, bongkak, iri hati semua adalah celoteh berasaskan kejahatan Dan celoteh yang berasaskan 'kebenaran, kasih sayang, amalan baik, dan belas kasihan, semua itu boleh dilihat melalui air muka, walaupun ia tidak boleh didengar. 'MUKA' kita semua sebenarnya diselubungi 'akal'. Setiap celoteh akal melalui apa yang diterima dan ianya adalah merupakan 'Jalur' atau 'Garisan' yang terkesan 'papan pemberitahu' (Notice Board), iaitu di air muka bagaikan memberitahu seluruh aktiviti di dalam sebuah institusi (sebab itu jangan dan membentuk rupa. Seperti sebuah gambar yang tertampal diamalkan bercakap bohong... Saya tahu, walaupun diberi pelbagai alasan atau helah). Segala celoteh 'akal' tidak boleh disembunyikan atau ditutupi. Ingat! Jika kita cuba menyembunyikan juga sebenarnya kita membohongi diri kita sendiri. Dan "bodoh, seperti bodohnya seekor burung" (Ostrichs). "Perangainya apabila iadihambat oleh sesuatu, ia akan membenamkan kepala kecilnya itu ke dalam pasir, dan menganggapkan dirinya sudah cukup selamat dari terbunuh oleh si pemburu. Tetapi alangkah bodohnya dia - badannya yang besar itu menarik perhatian pemburu. Akhirnya ia tertangkap dan dibawa pergi." Justeru, perkara jahat atau baik yang berlegar dan berceloteh di kepala kita masing-masing akan tergambar di raut muka secara sangat jelas. Ingat! Saudara pembaca: "Perkara ini sangat halus - ia sangat terkesan kalau kita benar-benar sedar, halusnya lebih halus daripada arus elektrik - Munculnya dengan pelbagai keinginan. KEHENDAKNYA ADALAH SEMATA-MATA PADA... NAMA DAN RUPA." - Ia mewarnai aliran pemikiran dengan pelbagai cara. - Celotehnya akan terus saja berceloteh, terus memainkan peranannya melalui kuasanya, akal kita itulah yang menggiatkan... mata, lidah, hidung, dan setiap organ pemahaman dan tindakan. 'Akal'lah yang memulakan dan menghidupkan apabila ia dipengaruhi atau terpengaruh akan sesuatu. Ambil tahu saudara pembaca: "Bahawa AKAL adalah SAKSI yang tidak kelihatan." 'Pemerhati' atau 'penyaksi' yang sangat berminat, seperti minatnya untuk menyaksi seorang 'Puteri' di dalam sebuah istana. di raja. Dari manakah terbitnya celoteh-celoteh itu? Ia terbit dari 'KEEGOAN' kita sendiri, 'Keakuan', 'aku, aku, aku',... sombong, bongkak, dan egois. Saudaraku, anda boleh baca! Tetapi anda 'tiada asas' sebenarnya untuk memahami tentang sifat-sifat akal yang mesti dilalui, difahami melalui enam (6) peringkat atau tingkatannya seperti: 6. Mata Hati (gerak hati). 5. Akal yang Bercahaya (Cahaya atas Cahaya - Penerangan - Terang lagi Bersuluh). 4. Akal Yang Tertinggi (melampaui kesedaran). 3. Akal yang Sudah Melampaui Kesedaran. 2. Akal Sedar. 1. Akal Separuh Sedar. Di dunia ini setinggi mana pun daya fikir seseorang berkembang, yang dikatakan bijak, arif, pandai,.. tetap masih berada di paras 'Akal Separuh Sedar' (Subconscious Mind). Sebenarnya 'tanpa Akal Separuh Sedar' ini, seseorang itu tidak boleh wujud - Itulah sedikit 'kelebihan yang kita ini lebih baik sedikit daripada binatang. Belajarlah menggunakan 'AKAL SEPARUH SEDAR' itu, dan pandulah ia secara bijaksana dan sampai Tahap Teratas (Keenam). Jika tidak, salin baju, pakai baju, basuh baju, potong rambut, potong kuku, berak, kencing, basuh kencing, tidur, bangun, makan, minum, jaga anak, asuh anak, hantar anak suruh orang jaga, pergi sekolah, jamuan, ke hulu, ke hilir, ke sana, ke mari, di alam maya yang penuh tipu daya, sedangkan dunia ini tidaklah sebesar mana, hanya berputar-putar di situ sehingga kita tidak sedar, kita dimakan hari, dimamah usia, kecut, kedut, tak bermaya,kemudian mati, seperti binatang yang boleh kita makan.... THE MIND IS NOT LIKE A BLANK PAPER

Pure thoughts hold the key to the purity of mind. Thoughts have an objective reality of their own. They deal with the characteristics associated with physical objects. "If a man has rose flower its' fragrance is carried by him wherever he goes...." Likewise, he will be carrying foul smell, wherever he goes. "It is the same with good or bad thoughts." They radiate their good or bad vibrations around them. "Thoughts have so much power that when they are directed towards great objectives they can be used to influenced the world." When the mind is filled with good thoughts, such as truth, love, forbearance and compassion, one's life filled with peace and serenity. If on the other hand, one allows thoughts of hatred, envy, anger and conceit to grow, life becomes a perpetual misery. Man is the only being endowed with the unique weapon of the mind. Whoever is able to master it, will be victorious in life. A slave of the mind cannot achieve happiness or peace. The body with all the sense organs, made up of the five elements, is the dwelling which the mind has established for its fulfillment. It is like an armor. "The mind is the basis of the body. It is the cause of all worldly activities and experiences." Please note: "A body without the mind is like a school without a teacher. A crop withering for want of water. Or an electric wire without current, and it is utterly useless and lifeless." Men are generally prone to regard the mind as intimately bound to the body. Believing that the body, a composite of the five elements... Is the real and permanent. They devote all their time and actions to its well-being. Life is wasted in pursuing mundane objects. Please remember!... "The highest realization consists in using the intelligence... In order to acquire (the higher wisdom). And conquering the mind through that wisdom (Realization of God is the highest wisdom)." This consummation is attained only through good thoughts. Good thoughts constitute the most precious possession. "They are charged with immense... power, purity and divinity." They are life-giving and life-sustaining. They will yield the desired fruits according to the way they are used. The mind, it should noted, "is not like a blank paper." It is a palimpsest which carries on it the imprint of the the experiences and actions of the past. The mind is the cause of man's bondage or liberation. If man can fill himself with good thoughts in any situation, his life will become sanctified. Hence, it is necessary for every one to see how he can cultivate good thoughts and make them govern his life and actions. The mind can be an instrument to gain success in any paths and in the struggles to gain the god of life. "If it is given a licence to foster any type of wish or conation, it is sure to plunge in bondage." The mind shapes life and the world where in one lives. Do people hope to get nutritious fruits? Why blame God when bitter seeds do not yield sweets fruits? Man is the only animal that imbibes and the smiles on the face is the blooming of the joy that fills the heart.
